Arizona Land Sales was established 40 years ago by a gentleman named Hank
Schechert. Hank purchased land little by little in the Foothills area and
dreamed about developing a place where people could live and enjoy the desert
and Yuma's unique climate.

The first subdivision was at Foothills Boulevard and 40th Street and the acre
lots sold for $1,295.00 and $1,495.00. Since then, Arizona Land Sales has sold
over 10,000 lots in the Foothills.

In September of 1998, Henry "Hank" Schechert passed away while he was fishing
in Alaska. His daughter, Sandie Braden, took over as the broker and together
with Hank's family, friends, employees and many other corporations, we all
continue to make Hank's Foothills dream a reality.
